Here’s how our mixing & mastering process works

 

1. Purchase & send files

Press “Book a Session”, choose your package. Fill out the form, and paste a google, dropbox, or we-transfer link with the dry & wet stems of your song.

2. We mix your song

Once the files are received, we mix and master your song in our pristine #1 rated recording studio. Turn around time is 5 - 10 business days.

3. Grow your brand

After completion, you’ll receive your high-quality WAV file ready to upload online. Get new fans, engage your audience, and grow!

Q&A


HOW do I send in my song for mixing?

If you’re using Logic Pro X you can send the session file. Include all audio files, just make sure to convert any virtual instrument or midi file tracks to audio because we don’t always have the same sounds.


For all other DAW’s you have these two options to choose from:


  1. If you’ve been working on your rough mix and enjoy some aspects of it, we would rather start mixing where you left off.

    • Send one set of stems “wet” with effects, compression, eq, etc… (*Turn off anything in the main mix bus)

    • Send one set dry with no effects, eq, or compression. (If you have auto-tune or any other pitch enhancing plugins you like the sound of, you can leave them on the dry stems too)


  2. If you have a really basic rough mix with barely any effects/plugins, and we are mixing the song from scratch you can just send over the dry stems.



How do I send in my song for mastering?

When sending your mix in for mastering, please send it as a high-quality WAV file.

  • Turn off all compression, EQ, and limiting on the master fader

  • MP3 files are not recommended for high-quality mastering

You must bounce or export directly from your DAW/mixing software to achieve a true 24bit WAV file.


When you're ready, add it to a We-transfer link, fill out the form and paste the link, and make the payment. Then we will be ready to start your project.
